There is an abundance of trails, over 40 in all, found throughout the Muskoka region and they range from easy 1 kilometre loops to trails stretching up to 40 kilometres in just one direction. Many of the trails are used year round and are multi use for a range of different activities including hiking, skiing, biking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
One of the most famous parks in Canada, Algonquin Park, is found right here in North Muskoka. You'll find peace and tranquility, amazing canoeing, and wildlife everywhere. Bring your camera, your sketch pad and enjoy getting back to nature.
You'll also find many of the resorts in the area offering private trail systems for you to enjoy as guests.
